Sony Entertainment Television leads Urban market: BARC week 46

Zee Anmol continued to lead the overall market followed by Star Bharat on second spot and Star Utsav on the third spot

Zee Anmol continued to lead the overall market with 772 million impressions, followed by Star Bharat on second slot with 714 million impressions and Star Utsav on the third spot with 663 million impressions, according to Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India Week 46 data.

Colors’ Naagin regained its lead position in week 46 with 13.1 million impressions followed by Zee Anmol’s Kumkum Bhagya with 12.7 mn on second slot. Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya  and Kumkum Bhagya bagged third and fourth spots with 11.9 mn and 10.3 million impressions respectively. Star Bharat stood at number five with Radhakrishn with 9.9 million impressions.

Hindi GEC Urban

Sony Entertainment replaced Star Plus at number one position with 446 million impressions followed by Star Plus on second spot with 445 million impressions and Colors on third with 420 million impressions. Zee TV and Star Bharat bagged fourth and fifth spots with 398 mn and 345 million impressions respectively.

Colors’ Naagin3 continued to dominate the list of top five programmes in the urban market with 8.7 million impressions. Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya bagged the second spot with 7.5 million impressions followed by Kumkum Bhagya on the third spot with 6.3 million impressions. Star Plus’ Kulfi Kumar Bajewala stood at number four with 6.3 million impressions whereas Sony’s Indian Idol grabbed fifth spot with 5.9 million impressions.

Hindi GEC Rural

Zee Anmol continued to lead the rural market with 631 million impressions, followed by Sony Pal on the second spot with 479 million impressions and Star Utsav on the third with 457 million impressions. Star Bharat and Dangal TV stood on the fourth and fifth positions with 368 million and 336 million impressions, respectively.

Zee Anmol’s Kumkum Bhagya continued to lead the list of top five programmes with 10.7 million impressions followed by Sony Pal’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma on second slot with 7.2 million impressions and Zee Anmol’s Mahek stood on the third slot with 7.1 million impressions.

Dangal TV’s Ramayan and Zee Anmol’ s Ek Main Aur Ek TU bagged fourth and fifth spots with 6.2mn and 5.7 million impressions respectively.
