Q2 FY26: TV Today Network reports nearly Rs 188 crore in revenue

TV Today Network Limited reported a net loss of Rs 2.04 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, against a profit of Rs 7.32 crore in the previous quarter (Q1 FY26) and Rs 8.35 crore in the corresponding quarter last year (Q2 FY25).

The company’s revenue from operations stood at Rs 187.55 crore in Q2 FY26, down 5.5% sequentially from Rs 198.44 crore in Q1 FY26 and 9.3% lower than Rs 206.77 crore in Q2 FY25.

Total income for the quarter was Rs 197.11 crore compared to Rs 212.42 crore in the previous quarter and Rs 219.36 crore in the year-ago period.

Total expenses during the quarter were Rs 191.96 crore, lower by 5.2% from Rs 202.38 crore in Q1 FY26 and down 7.6% from Rs 207.82 crore in Q2 FY25.

Production cost declined to Rs 21.12 crore from Rs 24.93 crore in Q1 and Rs 24.35 crore in Q2 FY25.

Profit before exceptional items and tax was Rs 5.15 crore, down 48.7% QoQ from Rs 10.04 crore and 55.4% YoY from Rs 11.54 crore. After exceptional items of Rs 7.61 crore, the company posted a loss before tax of Rs 2.46 crore.

H1 FY26 performance

For the six months ended September 30, 2025, TV Today Network reported total income of Rs 409.53 crore, down 24.3% compared to Rs 540.90 crore in the same period last year.

Total expenses stood at Rs 394.34 crore, compared to Rs 460.55 crore in H1 FY25.

After accounting for exceptional items of Rs 7.61 crore, profit before tax came in at Rs 7.58 crore.

Net profit for H1 FY26 stood at Rs 5.28 crore, compared to Rs 59.78 crore in H1 FY25.
