India TV has issued a public advisory on LinkedIn warning against a false post that is currently circulating online, falsely advertising freelancing job opportunities with the network.
In a statement posted on their official LinkedIn page, the news channel clarified that it has not posted any such vacancy and strongly urged the public to avoid falling prey to such fraudulent schemes.
“We want to make it clear that our organization has not posted any such vacancy,” the statement read.
India TV advised job seekers to verify opportunities only through official channels, including their website and HR department, and encouraged people to report any misleading posts they come across.
Taking a firm stand on the issue, the organization added that it is treating the matter seriously and will be initiating legal action against the individuals responsible for the misrepresentation.
“India TV takes such misrepresentations seriously and will be initiating legal action against the individual(s) responsible for this fraudulent activity, as advised,” it stated.
The network concluded its post by reaffirming its commitment to transparency in recruitment and urged job seekers to rely only on verified sources for career-related information.
