Flashed Yesterday: BCCI Media Rights: Day 2 closes with Rs 6,032 crore bid

The second day’s bidding started with Rs 4,517 crore and went up consistently to Rs 6,032 crore by the end of the day.

The second day of the e-auction of media rights for India's bilateral series at home saw the bidding rates go beyond the Rs 6,000 crore mark. With no conclusive outcome by the end of the second day of bidding, the auction has been carried forward to Thursday (April 5) when the bidding will resume at 11 am.

The latest bid in the BCCI auction stands at Rs 6,032 crore, which amounts to Rs 59.14 crore per match. The IPL media rights, sold for over 16,347.50 crore across 300 matches amount to Rs 54.5 crore per match.
