RAM Week 14: Fever retains its hold over Mumbai and Delhi
Meanwhile Radio City and Radio Mirchi ruled Bangalore and Kolkata respectively
Week 14 of RAM Ratings 2018 witnessed radio channel Fever ruling over Mumbai and Delhi. Meanwhile, Radio City and Radio Mirchi ruled Bangalore and Kolkata respectively.
This week, in the Mumbai universe of 12.2 million listeners, Fever FM took the top spot with 15.7 per cent, followed by Radio Mirchi and Radio City. The latter two bagged 14.1 and 13.6 per cent share respectively. They had the same share of 13.5 per cent. Big FM and Red FM took the fourth and fifth spots with 12.9 per cent and 10.4 per cent share. Mid-morning, followed by morning and early morning time band, observed the highest listenership on the total radio.
Fever continued to dominate the Delhi market in a universe of 16.5 million listeners with 18.3 per cent share. Radio City and Radio Mirchi took the second and third positions with 12.5 per cent and 11.8 per cent share respectively. Radio Nasha ranked fourth with an 11.6 per cent share while Air FM2 Gold continued to hold on to its fifth spot with 10.5 per cent share. Mid-morning followed by evening and afternoon time band, observed the highest listenership on the total radio.
In Bangalore, Radio City maintained its leadership position with 25.4 per cent share in the universe of 5.3 million listeners. Big FM, Radio Mirchi and Fever FM took the second, third and fourth spots with 17.7 per cent, 16.2 per cent and 13.3 per cent respectively. Air FM Rainbow took the fifth spot with 6.3 per cent share. Here, mid-morning, followed by evening and night time band, observed the highest listenership on the total radio.
The Kolkata market was dominated by Radio Mirchi with 19.9 per cent share, followed by Big FM and Fever FM which garnered 18.7 per cent and 18.2 per cent shares respectively. Aamar FM took the third spot with 9.2 per cent share. Meanwhile, Red FM took the fifth spot with 8.8 per cent share. Mid-morning, followed by evening and morning time band, observed the highest listenership on the total radio.
