RAM Ratings Week 45: Big FM And Fever FM maintain lead over Mumbai and Delhi

Week 45 (November 5-11, 2017) of RAM Ratings saw the radio channels Radio City and Radio Mirchi leading Bangalore and Kolkata respectively

Week 45 (November 5-11, 2017) of RAM Ratings saw the radio channel Big FM and Fever FM dominating Mumbai and Delhi cities respectively. Meanwhile, Radio City and Radio Mirchi continued leading Bangalore and Kolkata respectively.

In the Mumbai Universe of 12.2 million listeners Big FM was at the top spot with 14.4 per cent, followed by Radio Mirchi and Radio City. Both Radio Mirchi and Radio City had 14.1 per cent share. Fever FM slipped to fourth spot with a decline of 0.7 per cent share to 13.5 per cent. Same goes for Red FM which got displaced to fifth spot with 10.3 per cent share. Early morning, followed by morning and mid- morning time band, observed highest listenership on total radio.

Fever continued to dominate Delhi (consisting of 16.5 million listeners) with 19.5 per cent share, followed by Radio Mirchi (12.3 per cent) and Radio Nasha (12.2 per cent). Radio City climbed to fourth spot with 11.1 per cent share while Air FM 2 Gold slipped to fifth spot with 10.5 per cent share. Night, followed by mid- morning and early morning time band, observed highest listenership on total radio.

In Bangalore universe of 5.3 million listeners, Radio City maintained its lead with 24.5 per cent share, followed by Big FM (17.9 per cent) and Radio Mirchi (16.2 per cent). Fever FM retained its fourth spot with 14.6 per cent share. AIR FM1-Rainbow took the fifth spot with 6.5 per cent share. Mid-morning, followed by evening and morning time band, observed highest listenership on total radio.

In Kolkata Universe of 9.1 million listeners, Radio Mirchi continued to reign with 20.7 per cent share. It was followed by Big FM with 17.2 per cent share, down by 0.5 per cent from the previous count. Fever FM retained its third spot with 16.1 per cent share. Red FM also held on to its fourth spot with 9.7 per cent. Aamar FM slipped to fifth spot with 9.6 per cent share. Mid-morning, followed by morning and afternoon time band, observed highest listenership on total radio.
