FM radio station to be launched soon in Ludhiana: Manish Tewari
Tewari also said Phase III auctions of 839 stations in 294 cities will be completed in the next six months
Minister of Information and Broadcasting Manish Tewari has announced that a FM radio station will be launched in Ludhiana soon. In a meeting with the media leaders of the state, Tewari shared this dream and showed a requirement of two acres of land for the same. All the local MLAs and industrialists have been requested to arrange for the land so that the proposal may be processed further.
Tewari pointed out that Phase III auction of 839 stations in 294 cities will be completed in the next six months. He added that the opening of FM radio station in Ludhiana would not only provide information and entertainment to the residents of Ludhiana and the surrounding areas but also create a lot of employment opportunities for the local youth.
Tewari also pointed out that due to wrong economic policies of the state government, Punjab lags far behind the other states of the country. He expressed that only a dynamic leadership can restore the state to the path of progress.
