The Hindi offering of BCCL, Navbharat Times (NBT) is all set to re-enter Lucknow in the month of May.

NBT had shut its Lucknow edition in 1985.

According to industry sources, the recruitment process will commence from first week of April and Santosh Mishra, who was earlier with Dainik Bhaskar, will be the resident editor of the edition.

Navbharat Times will definitely leverage the Times of India banner, which will help in attracting more readers in the competitive market.

For the record, Navbharat Times was earlier present in Lucknow, Kolkata, Patna and Jaipur. However, today it has editions only in Delhi and Mumbai; though the news coverage is pan India through its online presence.
