HT realigns marketing roles
Diptakirti Chaudhuri moves on to become the Head – Strategy & New Businesses, Digital Business; Parveen Gupta is the new Head – Marketing of HT Delhi
As part of internal movement at Hindustan Times, the marketing roles have been rearranged.
Diptakirti Chaudhuri will move on from his current role as Head – Marketing, HT Delhi to a new role of Head, Strategy and New Businesses, Digital Business. He will be a part of the leadership team of Digital Business, and be responsible for working on new category evaluation and entry. In this role, Chaudhuri will directly report to Amit Garg, Business Head – Digital.
Parveen Gupta will move to the position of Head – Marketing, HT Delhi and will be responsible for the entire consumer and product agenda for the brand. In his earlier role, Gupta was involved in the re-launch of both HT and HT City. He will report to Rajesh Ramakrisnan, Marketing Head, Hindustan Times.
These internal moves are effective with immediate effect.
Chaudhuri is a mechanical engineering graduate from Jadavpur University and an MBA from Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI). Gupta is a production engineering graduate from Punjab Engineering College and holds an MA and M Phil in Sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) as well as an MBA from Indian School of Business (ISB).
