Seven of the top 10 publications have seen growth as per IRS 2011 Q4 results. Dainik Jagran maintains its lead but as seen a dip in its Average Issue Readership (AIR). The Times of India is the only English daily in the top 10 publications’ list. The paper has seen growth in its AIR.
Dainik Jagran has reported an AIR of 16,410,000 in IRS 2011 Q4, down from16,458,000 in IRS 2011 Q3. Dainik Bhaskar too has seen a decline in its AIR at 14,602,000 from 14,876,000 in the previous quarter.
Hindustan, on the other hand has seen a slight rise at 12,045,000 from 12,033,000 in IRS 2011 Q3. It’s growth for Malayala Manorama too with an AIR of 9,937,000 in this quarter as against 9,912,000 in IRS 2011 Q3. Amar Ujala has seen a growth in its AIR at 8,842,000 in IRS 2011 Q4 as against the previous quarter’s AIR of 8,836,000.
The Times of India has seen growth this quarter with its AIR at 7,616,000 as against 7,467,000 in IRS 2011 Q3.
Lokmat and Daily Thanthi have also seen growth in AIR at 7,562,000 and 7,503,000, respectively. Lokmat’s AIR stood at 7,438,000 in IRS 2011 Q3, while Daily Thanthi had recorded an AIR of 7,447,000 in the previous quarter.
Rajasthan Patrika has seen a decline in its AIR at 6,847,000 while Mathrubhumi’s AIR has gone up to 6,666,000 in IRS 2011 Q4, from 6,918,000 and 6,630,000, respectively.For more updates, be socially connected with us on
