The Telangana police have reportedly booked TV9 news channel CEO Ravi Prakash in connection with an alleged forgery case, say media reports.

Alanda Media Entertainments secretary Kaushik Rao had lodged a complaint and the Cyberabad police have been on a manhunt for Prakash since then.

The issue is related to an alleged takeover of Alanda Media by TV9. The complaint said the signature of Rao was reportedly forged on a letter which was opposing the appointment of three new directors.

Police have raided the TV9 office in Hyderabad's Banjara Hills.

exchange4media has reached out to the network but is yet to get a response.
