A journalist with over two decades of experience in television, radio, print and digital, Faye D’Souza is a household name in the world of journalism and news.

She now runs a youth content brand called ‘Beatroot’ which she founded in 2020, that aims to restore the dignity to news by informing Indian young people in a manner that is nonpartisan and respectful.

She was the youngest woman to lead a national news television channel in India.

Previously, she spent 11 years at Times Network, where she served as Executive Editor of Mirror Now (March 2017 – September 2019), leading a 100-member editorial team.

Before that, she was Anchor and Editor – Personal Finance at ET NOW (October 2008 – March 2017), overseeing retail investment shows.

Faye received the RedInk Award for ‘Journalist of the Year’ in 2018 and the Redink award for reporting on health during the pandemic in 2021.

She was also named Vogue Woman of the Year in 2018; Impact's 40 under 40 and has been rated among the most impactful women in media and marketing in India.

Faye serves as a trustee on the board of Population First, a Not-for-profit focused on improving the way gender is portrayed and covered in media, film and advertising.

The focus of her content and work is Equal rights, LGBTQi rights, Climate change and mental health.
