The parliamentary panel on IT and communications is set meet today (January 31) to review implementation of laws governing media.
I&B ministry representatives are expected to brief the committee along with members of the Press Council of India.
Towards the end of last year, another parliamentary panel had met industry bodies to discuss the growth of OTT platforms and related issues.
The meeting, with Parliamentary Standing Committee on Communications and Information Technology, was focused on addressing concerns over obscenity in terms of the content on OTT.
