The Pitch CMO Summit Delhi 2019 presented by MX Player and co-powered by The Hindu and Colors will be held at The Leela Ambience, Gurugram on Friday, April 26 from 12pm. The theme for the Delhi Summit is ‘Transforming Businesses in the Digital Age’.

The Pitch CMO Summit Delhi discusses how brands and marketers are reshaping their communication campaigns to achieve a lasting brand identity and a sustained brand lineage. An esteemed line-up of speakers will speak on how businesses are being transformed in the Digital Age.

Kicking off the Summit will be keynote speaker Sudhanshu Vats, Group CEO & Managing Director, Viacom18 Media who will be speaking on ‘Harmonising Chaos In A New World Order’. Vats handles all five lines of Viacom18’s businesses - Television Entertainment; Filmed Entertainment; Experiential Entertainment; Digital Entertainment and Consumer Products. In the last six years, he has steered the group into an exponential profitable growth phase, made it future ready (platform and screen agnostic) with digital product launch and shaped it into one of the finest media organisations in the country with an inclusive, open and learning culture.

Delivering our second keynote address is Rajesh Magow, Co-Founder and CEO-India, MakeMyTrip who will speak on the topic ‘CEO’s Take: The Art & Science of Marketing’. Magow has played a leading role in consolidating the company’s market leadership position in India’s Online Travel Industry where MakeMyTrip clocked over 4 billion dollars of gross bookings, serving the travel needs of 15 million customers in FY 2018 alone. 

‘Giving A Voice To Your Brand’ is the topic of our Special Address speaker Dilip RS, Country Manager, Alexa Skills, Amazon India. As Country Manager for Alexa Skills, Dilip has been spearheading partnerships with brands, agencies as well as Indian developers to expand the number and quality of engaging voice experiences on Alexa. Dilip joined Amazon in November 2012 and in these six years has held multiple positions from business development to product management managing their deals, events, affiliates and other strategic partnerships and has been fortunate to witness the growth of the e-commerce industry from the front seat.

Also sharing his thoughts is Shashank Surana, VP, New Product Development, DS Group who is speaking on the topic, ‘Building Brand – The Influencer Way’. As Vice President, New Product Development, Surana’s current role comprises intensive market and brand research for new products, overseeing branding, marketing, packaging, and envisioning product cycle and positioning. His contribution to the group’s foray in confectionary segment with mini gums Chingles and its various flavours are noteworthy. He plays a key role in Product Development starting from ideation, research, packaging and marketing of all new products. The most recent of his successes is Pulse candy in the hard boiled candy segment.

Moving on, we also have Puneet Anand, Senior General Manager & Group Head (Marketing), Hyundai Motor India, speaking on the topic, ‘Going Digital: Transitioning From A Traditional Ecosystem’. Anand is an automobile professional with over 21 years of experience in Automotive Marketing, Sales & Service Operations. He has vast experience in Field Operations, Customer Relations, Dealer Development & Planning Departments, Insurance Business, Service Marketing and Training of Dealers. Finally, Rajesh Ramakrishnan, MD, Perfetti Van Melle India will deliver the Valedictory Address on ‘Tailor-Made: Personalising 'Mass' Communication’.  A veteran with 25 years of experience in General Management, Sales and Marketing, Ramakrishnan is responsible for overall operations of the company for India and Nepal. An accomplished business leader and a seasoned marketing professional, Ramakrishnan has worked across categories like Personal Care, Household Care, Foods & Beverages, Confectionery and Media.
