Meesho has renamed its entity to Meesho Pvt Ltd.
This comes ahead of the eCommerce company launching its IPO.
The board has approved the renaming of the company from Fashnear Technologies.
The company has sought approval from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and is still awaiting Registrar of Companies (RoC) approval regarding the change in name.
The e-commerce marketplace has reduced its advertising and sales promotion expenses by 50.51%, spending Rs 459.2 crore in FY24, down from Rs 927.8 crore in the previous year.
