A career spanning more than 15 years, some of India's most recognisable brands and multiple industries has made Savio Cerejo a familiar name in the marketing fraternity. From building consumer brands to creating campaigns for popular entertainment properties and now shaping the narrative around land ownership, Cerejo's professional journey reflects versatility, creativity and an understanding of evolving consumer aspirations.
As he recently celebrated his birthday, it is an opportunity to revisit a career that has seen him navigate diverse sectors while consistently placing consumers and storytelling at the centre of his marketing approach.
Cerejo's professional journey includes a significant stint at ITC Limited, where he was involved in developing marketing strategies and building Classmate, one of India's leading stationery brands. His experience in the FMCG sector provided a foundation in consumer behaviour, brand positioning and competitive marketing.
He subsequently moved to Swiggy, where he spearheaded marketing and strategy for the company's New Supply business. The assignment exposed him to the rapidly evolving world of digital commerce, changing consumer expectations and the challenge of building businesses in a highly competitive environment.
A defining chapter of his career came with Amazon Prime Video, where he spent four years as Senior Manager, Content Marketing.
During his tenure, Cerejo led marketing campaigns for some of the streaming platform's most popular titles, including The Family Man, Mirzapur, Made in Heaven, Farzi and Paatal Lok.
These campaigns demonstrated the importance of building conversations around entertainment properties and connecting content with audiences beyond the screen. His work received industry recognition, including accolades such as the Kyoorius Blue Elephant and the Grand Emvie.
In June 2025, Cerejo embarked on a new professional chapter when he joined The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL) as Vice President – Business Head, Marketing.
The transition from entertainment and consumer businesses to real estate presented an opportunity to apply his brand-building experience to a category traditionally associated with long purchase cycles, significant financial commitments and trust-driven decisions.
At HoABL, his mandate centres on the company's ambition to reshape perceptions of land ownership and make branded land developments accessible to a wider audience of investors. His responsibilities include marketing luxury plotted developments that bring together land, lifestyle and legacy.
His professional achievements have also earned him recognition from the marketing and advertising fraternity. Cerejo has been recognised through exchange4media's Content 40 Under 40 initiative, acknowledging his contributions to the industry.
Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Cerejo has contributed to industry conversations through thought leadership and writing.
In August 2026, he authored an article for exchange4media titled New India, Brand India: From Potential to Performance, exploring India's evolving identity as a global brand and the connection between economic transformation, consumer aspirations and national brand equity.
His journey across FMCG, food delivery, entertainment and real estate illustrates how marketing expertise can transcend categories while adapting to different consumer needs and business challenges.
From building Classmate at ITC to shaping conversations around Prime Video's popular shows and taking on a leadership mandate at HoABL, Cerejo has continued to embrace new opportunities and challenges.
As he celebrates another birthday, his career stands as an example of the possibilities that emerge when creativity, strategic thinking and consumer understanding come together.
