Global media platform Brut., official media partner of the Cannes Film Festival, took digital creators along to the prestigious festival, offering them front-row access to the world of cinema, fashion and culture.
In a move that signals the growing influence of the creator economy, Brut. handpicked a diverse set of Indian content creators to represent a new kind of storytelling at Cannes—raw, real, and instantly shareable.
From walking the red carpet to engaging in conversations with global stars and filmmakers, these creators became the eyes and ears for young audiences back home.
“For Indian viewers, the glamour of Cannes often feels distant. Through creators, we wanted to break that wall,” said Mehak Kasbekar, Country Manager & Editor-in-Chief of Brut India. “By taking creators along, specially from India—a country that is home to one of the largest and most vibrant creator communities—we’re making Cannes more relatable, accessible and exciting for the next generation.”
The creators, through Instagram Reels, vlogs and real-time stories, gave audiences a fresh perspective on Cannes: the film premieres, the fashion, the backstage chaos and the quiet human moments.
The initiative marks Brut’s continued push to blend traditional red carpet coverage with youth-driven narratives. It also highlights the platform’s commitment to putting Indian talent and voices on the global map.
