BARC Week 36: Lizol returns to lead Top 10 brands
Flipkart entered the same category after a brief hiatus in the fifth spot

In the BARC Top 10 Brands for Week 36 (September 1-7) Lizol came back to lead the category with 17,374 insertions. Harpic took the second spot with 14,072 insertions. Santoor Sandal and Turmeric slipped to the third position with 14,025 insertions. Amazon.in slipped to fourth spot with 13,567 insertions.
Flipkart, Harpic Power Plus, Dettol Cool Soap and Dettol Toilet Soaps entered the category in the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth spot with 12,280, 11,602, 11,327 and 11,289 insertions respectively. Trivago and Lalitha Jewellery slipped to ninth and tenth spot with 10,021 and 9345 insertions respectively.
In the same week, in BARC Top 10 Advertisers, FMCG brands Hindustan Lever and Reckitt Benckiser continued to reign with first two top positions with 1,29,294 and 1,22,265 insertions respectively. The latter had shot up the insertions this week. Procter & Gamble climbed to third spot with 31,035 insertions. Meanwhile ITC Ltd retained its fourth spot with 28,010 insertions. Wipro and Amazon Online India slipped to fifth and sixth spot with 26,942 and 26,253 insertions respectively.
Brooke Bond Lipton India climbed to seventh spot with 22,588 insertions. SBS Biotech fell to eighth spot with 22,383 insertions. Colgate Palmolive India entered the list at the ninth spot with 21,989 insertions. Smithkline Beecham fell to tenth spot with 20,127 insertions.
