UTV to produce TV serials for US channel
After developing animation films for international television outfits like Fox Kids and Funbag, UTV plans to produce TV serials for US channel. The serial is being slotted for prime time viewing across North America.

After developing animation films for international television outfits like Fox Kids and Funbag, UTV plans to produce TV serials for US channel. The serial is being slotted for prime time viewing across North America.
The series will be largely shot across Asia and is budgeted at about $8 million. UTV will be working on an Indo-Canadian movie co-production. UTV and its Canadian partner are now in the midst of firming up the cast of the film. A Canadian will direct the movie.
UTV has already taken a shot at distributing and producing Bollywood films. The company is also contemplating on developing content for producing films in other regional languages like Bengali, Tamil and Punjabi.
