Jagran launched talent hunt campaign ‘Jagran Young Editor’ last week. The campaign will run for almost 45 days including 10 days for registration, 10 days for workshop and 15 days to create the newspaper. Students aged between 12 to 17 years can register through a form published in Dainik Jagran to participate in the workshop organised by the group. The campaign is running in the entire footprint of Dainik Jagran including 11 states and 37 editions.
Speaking on the thought process behind the campaign, Basant Rathore, VP, Strategy Planning and Brand Development, stated, “Dainik Jagran has strong conviction and belief in young talent and has always strived to create and design its editorial to educate and guide them to become a good citizen and creditable individuals. Jagran Young Editor is one such initiative which aims to educate youngsters about the nuances of news business.”
Through this initiative, students between 12 to 17 years of age will be trained in news making by the Jagran group. Youngsters will attend a workshop on various aspects of editorial from the experts in Dainik Jagran Editorial team.
