Rammohan Sundaram, former Country Head & Managing Partner, Integrated Media at DDB Mudra Group, has announced the launch of his new health-tech venture, KokoroBharat, with a mission to make health and insurance accessible to every citizen in India.
The platform will focus on Home Care, Insurance, and Sexual Wellness, with plans to roll out teleconsultations with doctors and pharmacy delivery from trusted neighbourhood stores within the next month. The venture is debuting in Gurgaon, with expansion to cover the entire Delhi NCR in the next three months, and an ambitious target to reach 20 cities across India by Q1 2026.
Sundaram emphasised a phased approach to expansion, aiming to perfect service delivery before scaling rapidly. “In the first quarter of next year, there will be a bunch of innovations through AI that will make life much easier for consumers,” he wrote in a social post.
KokoroBharat has already achieved an enterprise value of $11.41 million (₹100 crore) and raised $0.5 million in a "Friends & Family Round" from 26 investors. The funding round remains open until September 2025 on a post-money valuation.
Expressing gratitude to investors, Sundaram said, “I am not just indebted but extremely grateful for the trust people have shown in the vision and the team that is executing this vision. Each one of them has not just trusted me but our whole model, which can possibly change the way India's healthcare system currently works.”
The platform will launch Android-only on August 15, with an iOS version expected within 45 days. Sundaram says KokoroBharat is committed to organising an otherwise fragmented healthcare market in India and delivering progressive tech-driven solutions to improve access and affordability.
