French Press Global, for clients Procam International, presented a historic fashion showcase celebrating 20 years of the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon (VDHM) — an evening that blended fashion, sport, culture, and the indomitable spirit of Delhi.

The gala, titled “Breaking Barriers: A 20-Year Odyssey,” paid homage to two decades of endurance, inclusivity, and purpose, bringing together a constellation of icons who have defined the city’s pulse and redefined its rhythm.

Taking centre stage was Olympic legend Carl Lewis, who walked the runway in an iconic couture creation by designer Sahil KochharThe Halo of Endurance — a sculptural ode to motion, belief, and the human spirit. The ensemble, envisioned as an auction-worthy collectible, captured the essence of the marathon’s twenty-year journey — one of evolution, empathy, and empowerment.

The showcase featured Delhi’s barrier-breakers, including Gul Panag, Avani Lekhara, A.D. Singh, Atul Wassan, Gaurav Gill, Shama Mohammed, Kaamya Karthikeyan, Shagun Chowdhary, Namrata Joshipura, Charu Pragya, Shreepad Shende, Anurag Batra, and Sivakumar Sundaram — each an icon of courage and conviction in their own right.

Speaking on the momentous occasion, Chaiti Narula, Editorial Director, French Press Global and Founder, Maison French Press, shared:

“To me, this evening is deeply personal. I have witnessed the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon’s extraordinary journey over the past twenty years — its rise from a race into a revolution. I’ve known Anil and Vivek Singh for years, and to see their dream transform Delhi’s heartbeat forever still brings tears to my eyes.

The VDHM has broken barriers of philanthropy, inclusivity, and sustainability, raising over ₹84 crores for charity and uniting a city in spirit and movement. Procam International is not just a client to us; it is family. Lat eve, to celebrate that journey through fashion — with Carl Lewis as the showstopper, Sahil Kochhar creating the Halo of Endurance, and Delhi’s icons walking the ramp — is a moment that French Press Global will cherish for the next twenty years to come. A special note of gratitude to the entire Procam team who believed in us and gave us this opportunity and to our show director Anu Ahuja”

Komal Seth, Head of Communications, Maison French Press, added:

“This evening about conviction. The collaboration between Procam International and French Press Global reflects how purpose and creativity can coexist beautifully. The icons who walked last Friday have changed Delhi’s cultural landscape forever — each one symbolising endurance in their own way. To see them come together in celebration of a race that has inspired millions was nothing short of poetic.”

The gala evening culminated in a powerful tribute to Delhi — a city that runs not away from barriers, but through them — with a showcase that reminded everyone present that true endurance lies in purpose, and true luxury lies in community.
