Dhamaal24 moves for ‘Correction of Corruption’ this I-Day

Keeping with the current mood of fight against corruption, on the 64th Independence Day, Dhamaal24 invokes the janta for ‘Correction of Corruption’. Lead by example, is the message that Dhamaal is giving out to the radiozen, by pledging to stop indulging in corruption at the very basic levels of everyday activities.

As radio is a one to one medium, so this time the fervour has to be instilled in each individual, one to one. The campaign includes invocation, inspiration to pledge and support. The tone sets from Raksha Bandhan, when Dhamaal provokes the sisters to tie the rakhi and take a pledge from the brothers to start deweeding the society from corruption as the rakhi gift.

To inspire the nation, lest they not forget the patriots who sacrificed their lives for Independence, poems and letters by these freedom fighters have been specially packaged for the day. These are very rare letters written by freedom fighters like Chandrashekhar Azaad, Bhagat Singh, Ramprasad Bismil, Rajendra Nath Lahiri, among others. These poems and letters never got published as the British had confiscated them.

Annuradha Prasad, MD, Dhamaal24, said, “FM is a very strong medium and we must live up to its power. We have to raise the bar by taking head on concurrent and relevant issues, rather than simply adding to the cluttered din. India is all set to lead the global order and each one of us has to contribute towards this march. We are proud to be Indian not just for a day, but for the lifetime.”

Anil Kapoor, National Programming Head, Dhamaal24, added here, “India has a very rich heritage and past. It is in our hands to shape an equally rich and bright future for it. We as Indians have to come forward and perform our Fundamental duties also and not always demand for the fundamental rights.”
