Cinthol recently organized a fun event with cricket sensation Shubman Gill. As part of #TurnDownTheHeat campaign of Cinthol Lime & Cinthol Cool soap variants, the brand facilitated an action-packed game of Octopush-Underwater Hockey which proved to be a refreshing break reminding people to #TurnDownTheHeat.

This campaign aims to provide respite to the public from the soaring temperatures, thereby providing a refreshing solution.

Commenting on this campaign, Sunil Kataria, CEO - India and SAARC, Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL) said: ‘’Cinthol is a brand that has always positioned itself in the realm of freshness and confidence, that ensures every bath is a fresh start. Shubman Gill is a popular youth icon and cricket as a sport is followed across all age groups in India. Hence, through this initiative, we wanted to engage consumers in an adventurous gaming format that is fresh and appealing to them. We wanted to pep up the youth to build up the excitement this season, without being put down by the heat this summer. Our commitment will be to introduce more such fresh ideas which contribute to the daily lives of the public.”

On his association with the campaign, Gill said, “Cinthol is an iconic brand that I have grown up using. Associating with Cinthol Lime and Cinthol Cool soap was a pleasant experience as I got to spend an adventurous day with people and engage in a fun sport with them. The thrilling game of octopush was indeed an adventurous fight to beat the dull gloomy weather and #TurnDownTheHeat. I personally believe that a refreshing feeling that charges up your morning is very important to set the tone for the rest of your day and is my mantra for staying fresh and energetic all the time.’’
