ABP News announces the best cities to live in India

ABP News has announced the best cities to live in India. Nagpur has been adjudged the best city. As per the ABP News Best City Awards Research, Nagpur is also the greenest city with best health care services and public transport.

These cities have been identified through a rigorous amalgamated process of secondary and primary research. The ABP News-Ipsos Best City Research and Awards running for the first time is the only consumer validated survey and celebrates the best of India’s cities and acts as a benchmark for excellence.

Commenting on this initiative, Ashok Venkatramani, CEO, MCCS said, “India’s most liveable cities have been surveyed in a formal way for the first time and the cities that score the best tend to be mid-sized cities with relatively low population density that don’t overburden the infrastructure. The objective of the ABP News-Ipsos Best City Survey and Award is to reward cities that provide a role model to inspire other cities to adopt a more integrated approach to urban management. It is important to recognise cities that progress towards healthier and sustainable living areas even though progress is its own reward.”
