Twitterati reacts to Govt suing Nestle India for Rs 640 crore over Maggi crisis
Government has sued Nestle India on the ground that the company sold unsafe and hazardous products (Maggi noodles) to consumers, and also for their misleading ads

On Tuesday, the consumer affairs department filed a complaint against food major Nestle India with the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) seeking damages of Rs 640 crore on the ground that the company sold unsafe and hazardous products - Maggi noodles to consumers, thus endangering their health and also for misleading advertisements, according to recent reports.
Soon Maggi started trending on Twitter, with people using sarcasm and shock at the news of the government suing Nestle. They accused that it is just another move from the corrupt government. People claimed that it is not the government who should be getting Rs 640 crore, but the consumers who have purchased the product and have also consumed them.
