Twitter posts total advertising revenue of $885 million for Q4, up 12%
The micro-blogging platform’s total US revenue has been recorded at $591 million
Twitter has released its quarterly earnings for Q4 and fiscal year 2019.
The micro-blogging platform has recorded Average Monetizable Daily Active Usage (mDAU) of 152 million in Q4, up 21% year-over-year.
According to the financial report: Revenue has reached $1.01 billion, up 11%, reflecting steady progress on revenue product and solid performance across most major geographies, with particular strength in US advertising.
Twitter’s total advertising revenue stands at $885 million for Q4 2019, an increase of 12%. Data licensing and other revenue totalled to $123 million, an increase of 5%.
The total US revenue has been recorded as $591 million, an increase of 17%, driven by 20% growth in US advertising revenue.
Advertising metrics: The total ad engagements have increased 29%, resulting primarily from increased impressions driven by audience growth and improved clickthrough rates.
Twitter has said in the statement: “We also launched the Twitter Privacy Center in Q4 to provide more clarity around what we are doing to protect the information people share with us. It is the central place that hosts everything that is part of our privacy and data protection work: related initiatives, announcements, new privacy products, and communication about security incidents. The Privacy Center makes it easier for people to find and learn more about the work we are doing to keep their data secure, including what data we collect, how we use it, and the controls they have.”
