The Maddies 2018: Mindshare wins Agency of the Year; Jio is Mobile Marketer of the Year
Mindshare wins 6 Golds; Havas, Wat Consult, Madison, Carat, Wavemaker win a Gold each
exchange4media Mobile Marketing Awards – The Maddies 2018 was held on the evening of October 31 in Mumbai.
Mindshare India won 6 Golds including Brand Recall for Lifebuoy for the campaign Activating Infection Alert System In Rural India, Pepsi’s ChugChug on ChukChuk under the Campaign to Drive Sales category with Rail Yatri, Election Se Auction for Star Sports under Amplification category, HIT FIK under Community Building, McDowells no.1 soda under Maximizing Mobile Advertising category and Aditya Birla Health Insurance’s #JumpforHealth under Digital Influence category.
Under the Hall of Fame Category, Mindshare India won Agency of the Year while Reliance Jio was named Mobile Marketer of the Year.

On winning, Sunil Dutt, President, Device and S &D, Reliance Jio, said, "It's a great honor to be recognised for several categories and to win the six awards including the Hall of Fame Marketer of the Year. Havas Worldwide won Gold for Durex’s Hate Condoms Love Durex Air under the category Launch of product/service. Future Group, Reliance Jio, Madison Media,WatConsult, Carat Media and GroupM’s Wavemaker also won Gold under several categories.
Reliance JIO won a Gold under Relationship Building/Remarketing Category for 30 Million Touches - India Played Digitally - Jio KBC Play Along and also a Silver for the same under Best use of Apps/Games for Marketing.
InMobi won a gold for Loreal.
Madison Media won Silver and also a bronze for MTV- When India Dared To Stare under two different categories.
Flying Cursor won a Silver for Big Bazaar Midnight Sale. Mindshare India also have won silver for Castrol, Interaction One Solutions won silver for Maiam Whistle, The Better India also won silver for MG Motor India, and Magnon\TBWA for SonyLIV got the silver.
Flipkart Ads, Contagious Online Media Network Private Limited, UBER, m/SIX, SoCheers InfoTech Pvt. Ltd & PivotRoots won Bronze under several categories.
The Maddies acknowledge marketing stories that employ an effective mobile marketing strategy done in India and were equally judged on innovation, concept, execution and results by a highly experienced independent panel of the industry. These awards were open to all industries linked to Mobile Marketing (Clients, Creative, Media Agencies, Digital Agencies and Publishers, etc).
The event also hosted an all-day mobile marketing conference named Screenage 2018, where speakers from Dentsu Aegis Network, Pizza Hut, Uber, Kraft Heinz, Bajaj Corp, Vodafone, and more sessions were conducted on various topics.
