Sennheiser, one of the leading German brands in sound recording, transmission and production, has awarded its digital duties to Starcom MediaVest Digital, the digital arm of Starcom MediaVest Group.

SMG Digital will take care of display media, search marketing and other kinds of paid format of advertisement for the brand.

Confirming the development to exchange4media, Arnab Mitra, National Director, Digital, Starcom MediaVest Group said, “We believe that with the movement of music lovers in India, towards excellent quality of home music experience, it is only imperative that Indian audiences will look for premium solutions. We would like to work with Sennheiser to make it a classily mass appealing product. Every Indian pair of ears should get used to a Sennheiser.”

The size of the account is pegged at Rs 3 crore.

Globally, Sennheiser is a very well-known among the music practitioners for its earphones and headset products. It is a leading brand in Germany, USA and Ireland among other markets.
