Route Mobile Ltd, the cloud communications platform owned by Proximus Global, posted a 9.6% year-on-year rise in revenue from operations to Rs 1,151.51 crore in the first quarter of FY27, according to its latest quarterly results.

Net profit for the quarter increased 16.6% to Rs 68.55 crore compared with the corresponding period last year. Profit before tax (PBT) came in at Rs 91.47 crore, up from Rs 76.57 crore in the year-ago period.

The company attributed the topline growth to sustained demand for its cloud communications offerings across enterprises, over-the-top (OTT) platforms and mobile network operators.

Commenting on the performance, Seckin Arikan, Chairman of Route Mobile and CEO of Proximus Global, said the company remained resilient despite operating in a difficult market.

"The underlying demand for our solutions remains strong, resulting in healthy traffic growth and continued customer engagement," Arikan said.

Tushar Agnihotri, CEO of Route Mobile, said the company recorded revenue growth on both a year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter basis during the quarter.
