Manmeet Vohra and Murali Nair join Visa on key positions
Vohra to join as marketing head, India and South Asia. Nair has been appointed head of client relationship management in India
Leading digital payments technology company Visa has appointed Manmeet Vohra as the marketing head, India and South Asia. She will be based in Mumbai, and will be joining the company in September this year. Prior to this, Vohra led the marketing of Starbucks in India.
Murali Nair has been appointed as the head of client relationship management in India. He will lead efforts to expand the company’s client base and enhance client experience across the network through managing key client relationships to drive product issuance.
Vohra most recently led the marketing of Starbucks in India and comes with 15 years of strategic marketing and rich retail brand management experience. She led the brand building of Starbucks and TAG Heuer brands in India from their early days, besides working for L'Oreal. Vohra is a graduate from Sri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi and a post-graduate from MICA, Ahmedabad.
Nair previously served as senior vice president of market development for Mastercard, South Asia, and as chief executive officer of Pinpoint India, a global leader in loyalty marketing. All told, he holds 24 years of experience in payments and digital products across India, Africa and the Middle East, including senior positions with Barclays, Deutsche Bank and Citibank. Nair received his MBA from IIM Calcutta.
