The Indian Apparel Industry today observed a nationwide agitation in protest of continuously rising cotton yarn prices. Nationally, around 50,000 manufacturing units from power-loom, handloom and made-up segments participated in this strike and kept their operations shut for a day.

Media Contacts, the digital arm of Havas Media, has reorganised and beefed up its operations in South Asia. Arnab Mitra, currently Director of Media Contacts India, has been promoted to Regional Director for South Asia, while Ravi Kabra has been made Director of New Business for South and South-East Asia.
“360 degrees is the most abused term in my view, and I think it is completely archaic. It is a crutch used by the old world creative agencies in pitches only. In reality they do not implement it. The new world, however, is beyond 360. The challenge now is 365.
