Automotive battery brand Amaron Batteries has appointed Optima Advertising, a Chennai-based full service ad agency, to handle its online advertising mandate following a multi-agency pitch. Optima will devise a complete strategy to manage Amaron Batteries’ online image.
The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has invited bids from agencies for leasing out ad display rights on various skywalks in and around Mumbai. The total space being offered is approximately 50,000 sq. m. The contracts shall be awarded for a period of two years.

Deccan Chronicle Holdings Ltd (DCHL) has reported an 18 per cent growth in net profit and 7 per cent increase in revenues for Q1 of FY10-11. Revenues of the company in Q1FY11 stood at Rs 2,318 million as compared to Rs 2,166 million in first quarter last fiscal, while PAT stood at Rs 912 million.
In its bid to strengthen its position in India, PS Bedi Group, a well-known name in the logistics business, has chosen Noshe Group as its 360 degree advertising partner. The logistics company had called for a pitch that had seen the participation of quite a few agencies, including Noshe Oceanic.

Keeping this in mind, the exchange4media Radio Advertising Awards (ERAA) have been set up. The 1st Annual ERAA is being held in Mumbai on October 7, 2010. According to industry sources, the company is looking for 360 degree marketing solutions, including online and offline aspects, for the brand’s telecom retail business.
