Tanya Dubash tops IMPACT's 50 Most Influential Women in Media, Marketing, Advertising list
Faye D’Souza, Shereen Bhan, Priya Nair and Sonali Dhawan among other toppers this year in the list of the industry’s top women achievers

Tanya Dubash, Executive Director and Chief Brand Officer, Godrej Industries, has topped IMPACT’s 50 Most Influential Women in Media, Marketing and Advertising List, 2019 for building up the Godrej Masterbrand and turning the legacy Godrej Group to a young, brand-driven organisation resting on the pillars of progression, expression, empathy and experience. Incidentally, Dubash is one of the only two women to have featured on every edition of IMPACT’s 50 Most Influential Women list since its inception in 2012.
On accepting the award, Dubash said: “What I'd like to share, which would be a big take out from my decades in this industry, is that if you want to grow a business or a brand; and I think as ladies if we put our minds to something, we really can do it, you need to put the customer at the centre of everything you do. Be passionate, be authentic, have a purpose and the sky is the limit in terms of achievement. You will get both emotional and financial success.”
This edition of IMPACT’s 50 Most Influential Women List was presented by &TV with MX Player and Femina as co-Gold partners.
This year, the list saw a healthy representation of women from across domains. The list comprises 14 women from media companies, 13 marketers, seven women from advertising agencies, six women from digital and media agencies each, three from design and PR agencies each and one from a market research company. Along with the 53 women achievers on the list, including three joint rank holders, the jury declared six young professionals as ‘Women to Watch out For’
The list was put together by a jury of most esteemed industry leaders, led by Sam Balsara, Chairman and MD, Madison World.
