Rahul Gandhi, Jaipal Singal join iD Fresh Foods as CMO, CFO
The appointments have been made to strengthen the food brand's business resilience in a post-pandemic world
The global economy is reeling under the COVID-19 impact and almost every industry is taking a big financial hit. While most companies are opting for layoffs and slashing payrolls to cope with the extraordinary economic challenge, India’s largest fresh food brand, iD Fresh Food, has decided to continue investing in human resources to create more value for the business and emerge stronger from the pandemic.
The Bengaluru-based company announced two new appointments today: Jaipal Singal joins iD as the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) and Rahul Gandhi as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Both roles are critical in shaping a more resilient business for the post-pandemic world.

Jaipal Singal will be heading iD’s finance department in India and UAE. His last assignment was with Urban Ladder as the CFO. Armed with 15 years of experience in diverse industries, such as manufacturing, retail, B2C business and e-commerce, the chartered accountant has a strong vision to lead iD to its next phase of growth.

Rahul Gandhi, the newly appointed head of iD’s marketing department in India and UAE, is equally excited about joining the pioneering fresh food brand. Having completed his Bachelors in Engineering from NSIT Delhi and post-graduation from IIM Kozhikode, Rahul comes with 15 years of experience in various roles across brand management, trade marketing, in-store marketing and sales & distribution of multiple FMCG businesses with ITC Limited.
