Prashant Jha, Political Editor and Delhi Chief of Bureau of the Hindustan Times, has stepped down following allegations of inappropriate behaviour.
An official mail sent to all HT employees by Hindustan Times Editor in Chief, R Sukumar, reads, “Hi All, Prashant Jha has stepped down as the Chief of Bureau and Political Editor of Hindustan Times with immediate effect. The bureau will report to me for the time being."
According to some reports, the decision was taken following several meetings between Jha and Sukumar.
