ITC Limited has reported a strong start to the financial year with the announcement of its unaudited consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 (Q1 FY26). The company posted a notable increase in total income and registered steady growth in net profit, underscoring its resilience and operational efficiency across a diversified business portfolio.
During the quarter, ITC’s total income reached Rs 23,811.56 crore, marking a 12.5% increase quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) from Rs 21,016.62 crore in Q4 FY25 and an 18.9% rise year-on-year (YoY) from Rs 20,003.78 crore in Q1 FY25. This total income includes revenue from operations amounting to Rs 23,129.35 crore, up from Rs 20,376.36 crore in the previous quarter and Rs 19,350.08 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Additionally, other income stood at Rs 682.21 crore, marginally higher than Rs 640.26 crore in Q4 FY25 and closely aligned with Rs 682.70 crore recorded in Q1 FY25.
The company’s total expenses rose to Rs 16,752.91 crore during the quarter, representing a 13.7% QoQ increase from Rs 14,728.91 crore and a 26.8% YoY jump from Rs 13,217.07 crore. The rise in expenses reflects higher input costs and ongoing brand investments, particularly in the personal care and packaged foods segments, which continue to be key drivers of ITC's FMCG portfolio.
Despite the increase in expenditure, ITC reported a solid profit for the period of Rs 5,343.41 crore, reflecting a 3.5% increase over the Rs 5,165.27 crore reported in Q4 FY25 and a 3.2% rise from Rs 5,176.99 crore in Q1 FY25.
