Jagran Prakashan Q1 FY26: Net profit surges 63% to Rs 67 crore

The company’s total ad revenue from print, digital, and radio combined stood at Rs 311.58 crore, registering a 5% growth

Jagran Prakashan Ltd (JPL) on Tuesday reported a 62.7% year-on-year rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 66.76 crore for the June quarter of FY26. The company had posted a profit of Rs 41.03 crore in the same period last year, according to its regulatory filing.

Revenue from operations rose 3.6% to Rs 460.05 crore, compared to Rs 444.11 crore in the year-ago quarter. Total income, including other income, stood at Rs 511.5 crore, marking a 9.47% increase.

JPL's total expenses were up 2.79% at Rs 421.27 crore during the quarter.

Revenue from its core segments—printing, publishing, and digital—rose 7.5% to Rs 355.36 crore. However, revenue from its FM radio business declined 17.24% to Rs 49.32 crore. Revenue from other segments, including outdoor advertising, event management, and activation services, grew 2.86% to Rs 56.11 crore.

The company’s total advertisement revenue from print, digital, and radio combined stood at Rs 311.58 crore, registering a 5% growth from Rs 296.66 crore in the same quarter last year.
