Charu Sharma appointed YAAP’s AVP-Business Development
Sharma will be based out of the Mumbai office and overseeing the business development across the YAAP network in Mumbai, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Shillong, Dubai, Singapore & Jakarta

Rainmaker Ventures-backed YAAP has appointed Charu Sharma as their AVP-Business Development. Sharma will be based out of the Mumbai office and oversee business development across the YAAP network in Mumbai, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Shillong, Dubai, Singapore & Jakarta. She will report directly to Manan Kapur, Partner at YAAP.
Sharma has been a part of the media industry for the last 12 years and has led teams across companies, including Radio Mirchi, Viacom18, Hungama Digital Services and Escapex.
Commenting on her new role, Sharma said, “With the rapid evolution in digital and media spaces, content is the biggest differentiator in the current times.
