Avian WE selected as Honda Cars India’s communication partner

The work will be led out of the agency’s New Delhi headquarters and executed across the country

Public relations firm Avian WE has announced Honda Cars India Limited (Honda) as its latest client. As the premium cars manufacturer’s communications agency of record in India, Avian WE will be responsible for growing awareness of Honda cars across the region through multi-channel integrated communications campaigns.

“Honda is one of the most respected premium automakers in India, offering consumers quality, and technologically-advanced products,” said Nitin Mantri, Group CEO of Avian WE. “It is a pleasure to apply our automotive expertise to a revered brand like Honda.”

The firm’s remit includes expanding the automaker’s growing thought leadership around the future of the automobile industry in India. Avian WE will partner with the brand to demonstrate its product superiority and innovation, thereby increasing consumer desirability for Honda cars. The firm will also manage media engagement, expanding the brand’s overall corporate and product narratives.

Avian WE’s public relations team will partner with Honda, led by Neha Mehrotra, Executive Vice President of Client Centricity. The work will be led out of the agency’s New Delhi headquarters and executed across the country.

On the appointment, Rajesh Goel, Senior Vice President and Director, Marketing and Sales, Honda Cars India Limited, commented, “Avian WE’s proposed strategy aligns with our communications objectives and we look forward to working with them.”

The Honda remit is the latest in a string of wins building on Avian WE’s rapid growth in recent months, including the additions of Samsung, Danone, Mylan and Bayer to the agency’s client roster.
