Srini is a perfect gentleman. He took on the mighty task of heading the massive WPP Group in India consisting of many Media agencies, Creative agencies, PR Agencies and several other new units and performed the impossible task of aligning the vision of each individual agency to the common group vision. At the same time giving individual CEOs the liberty to run their own organisation without the feeling of being supervised or monitored.
He also started a largish performance-oriented organisation for meeting the performance needs of global clients based out of India and achieved tremendous success.
Srini is a seasoned, mature person, who speaks only after a lot of thought and measures every word carefully.
I got to know Srini when he was with us in his formative years during 1998 to 2003, when I entrusted him with the responsibility of managing our Delhi office. He saved the Coca-Cola account which was with us for many years, thanks to Srini and subsequently Ajit.
Srini on retirement has completely different plans from what he has been doing. To start with he has built a beautiful home in Coonor where he and his wife will live, far away from the advertising world.
