NTPC meets advertising agencies

National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), the largest power utility of India, intends to empanel advertising agencies for its various jobs at the corporate centre, regional offices, projects, station, etc. located all over India.
Last date for sending the applications is December 9, 2013. The size of the business could not be ascertained at the time of filing the report, but it is believed to be substantial.
The brief scope of work for the advertising agencies shall include publication of Notice Inviting Tender (NIT), institutional advertisements, recruitment advertisements, financial advertisements, campaigns on behalf of NTPC and the Ministry of Power, printing and production of annual reports for NTPC and Ministry of Power, folders / brochures / pamphlets, house journals, organising exhibitions / tableau / fairs, hoardings and other outdoor advertisements, managing VVIP visits / events, such other related jobs.
The agencies have been classified under three categories namely A, B and C based on their turnover and shall be considered for the various type of works relating to corporate centre and various units / headquarters of NTPC.

For the record, NTPC was set up in 1975 to accelerate power development in India. It is emerging as an ‘integrated power major’, with a significant presence in the entire value chain of power generation business.
