Manas Mishra has been appointed President, Initiative Media as Sudha Natarajan leaves the company.
The outgoing CEO Natarajan was promoted to be the CEO of Lintas Initiative Media with effect from January 1, 2012 after Lintas Media Group had created a full service media and digital offer, Lintas Initiative Media in January this year.
Mishra had joined Mudra Connext as Executive Vice President in November 2008. He took take charge as National Head, overseeing its operations across six cities of India and was based in Mumbai.
Mishra brings over 17 years of experience. An MBA from NMIMS, Mishra had earlier worked across communication groups such as WPP, IPG and Publicis Groupe. He began his career with Contract Advertising, and subsequently moved to Starcom in 2000. In 2003, he moved to Initiative Media as Associate Vice President and in 2005 he shifted to Mediaedge:cia as General Manager to head its Mumbai operations. He has had the experience of handling and launching many national brands across diverse categories. Mishra is also a member of industry bodies such as the IRS Technical Committee of MRUC.
Natarajan was also on the Board of Lintas Initiative Outdoor, the wholly owned out-of-home subsidiary of the Lintas Media Group, formerly known as Aaren Initiative before the acquisition. An MBA with 20 years of brand marketing, client servicing and media management experience under her belt, Natrajan moved base from Bangalore to Gurgaon three years ago to additionally oversee the LMG operation in that city with blue chip client relationships such as Maruti Suzuki, Sony Electronics, Religare Enterprises, Voltas, Naukri, etc.
