CVL Srinivas, Country Manager, WPP India, remembers his association with Dominic Proctor, the WPP veteran who passed away at the end of last week.
Dominic was a very inspiring leader. He was like a man with the magic wand who could make anything happen.
He was always thinking ahead and in his own gentle way nudging us to do so too. Dominic played a major role in my coming back to the group in 2013 to lead GroupM South Asia.
He came over to Lisbon (where I was on a holiday) to meet me and talk about the exciting things we could do together to shape our media business. That meeting had a huge impact, I took on the role with a lot of positive energy. I will forever be grateful to him for giving me the best years of my career.
