Paul Cooper was with WPP for over 14 years

Paul Cooper has announced that is moving on from WPP after 14 years. Cooper last held the role of Chief Operating Officer - North Group at EssenceMediacom UK. In his role, he led and built EssenceMediacom North, which is composed of Manchester & Leeds offices and emCode, the company's digital transformation and UX division.

In a LinkedIn post, he announced his departure from WPP. “After 14 years (21 years including brilliant! Media) I wanted to share that now is the right time for me to move on from WPP. What a 14 years it has been, from our basement office with a handful of us to the largest media agency outside London”, the LinkedIn post read.

Paul Cooper reflected on his journey and said he is very lucky to have had the chance to work with so many amazing people, fantastic clients and see the explosion of growth in the Northern economy and media industry.

"So its not farewell just a new chapter which I am very excited to begin but I look back with nothing but fondness and happy memories at being part of something I believe was quite special. Some gardening will be being done until the end of the year after a very nice summer with the family", the LinkedIn post read.

Cooper is a seasoned professional with a 25-year career in digital marketing, advertising, media, CX and platforms.
