As per COMvergence’s New Business Barometer for India, at agency-group level, Publicis Media led with net new-business value of +$218M, followed by WPP Media (+$198M), Omnicom Media Group (+$18M).

COMvergence has released its New Business Barometer for India covering January to June 2026, including account retentions.

Reckitt, L’Oréal, Wipro, AMFI, Netflix, JSW Motors, Flipkart, Jaguar Land Rover, Abbott Nutrition, Hewlett Packard, Red Bull and Skechers were among the prominent account moves that shaped the Indian market during the period.

The leading media agencies in H1 2026 were Wavemaker, with a net new-business value of +$147M, followed by Zenith at +$126M, Starcom at +$71M, Initiative at +$29M and Motivator at +$21M.

At the agency-group level, Publicis Media led the market with a net new-business value of +$218M, followed by WPP Media at +$198M and Omnicom Media Group at +$18M.

COMvergence assessed 62 account moves and retentions in India during H1 2026, representing an estimated $838M in media spend.

Of these, 16 were global or multi-market pitches, representing $119M in new-business value. 

The remaining 46 were local pitches, representing $719M.
