Maxx Mobile has moved its media business to Prachar. The incumbent on the business was MPG India. The account size is in the vicinity of Rs 30 crore.

Maxx Mobile moves media biz to Prachar

Mobile handset manufacturer Maxx Mobile has moved its media business from MPG India to Prachar. The development is effective immediately. The account size is pegged at Rs 30 crore.

Maxx Mobile sources have confirmed the news to exchange4media. Prachar has already begun work on the business.

Rajesh Jain, MD, Prachar, said, “This category is very competitive, and we want to ensure maximum noise in modest budgets. Maxx Mobile is a very economical product in comparison to the other players in the category. Our fight also is on a much smaller budget comparatively.”

Maxx Mobile Communications Ltd is a manufacturer of mobile phone, batteries and mobile phone chargers in India. The company was incorporated in January 2004 under the leadership of CMD Ajjay Agarwal.

The company has been marketing the mobile phone under the brand name ‘Maxx’ in the domestic market, which is supported by 21 branch offices, over 250-strong distributor network and backed by strong customer support/ service network across India.
