The week was quite an eventful one, with TRAI bringing into force its controversial tariff order. As TRAI implemented the order, Tata Sky moved a contempt petition against it in the Delhi High Court. The court, however, dismissed the petition. exchange4media kept a close eye on all the developments and reported the matter in detail.

Another major event of the week was Reliance Industries Limited’s AGM where MD & Chairman Mukesh Ambani announced the launch of an ultra-high speed fixed line broadband service, Jio Giga Fibre, for homes and enterprises. exchange4media did a detailed story on how it will impact the media and entertainment industry.
