IPAN Kolkata, a division of J Walter Thompson Group, has recently bagged the public relations account of Apeejay Oxford Bookstores, which have been an intrinsic part of Kolkata.
IPAN Kolkata will be handling the PR and media activities of Oxford Bookstores in Kolkata, New Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai. IPAN will be also promoting the marketing strategies, events and various tie-ups that Oxford Bookstores facilitate from time to time.
However, the primary work will encompass working on the brand image of Oxford Bookstores through the various events that it hosts on a regular basis. Said Rajiv Chowdhry, CEO, Apeejay Oxford Bookstores, “An Oxford Bookstore is no ordinary bookstore. It is a niche bookstore, and through its various clubs – Cha Writer’s Club, Design Club, Film and Photography Club – it provides a forum for showcasing talent.”
Prior to IPAN, Accord was the agency handling the PR account of Apeejay Oxford Bookstore. When asked the reason for choosing IPAN, Chowdhry said, “I feel IPAN can do a lot for the brand.”For more updates, be socially connected with us on
