Sources have confirmed that the leading communications and award-winning professional, Abhi Mahapatra is moving on from his position as Director of Communications, Amazon. He moved on from Amazon after a successful stint of four years.
Abhi returned to India to join Amazon in 2020 after successfully leading the communications role for Nissan Motor Corporation in Middle East Africa and India, based in Dubai.
Mahapatra is a Public Relations, crisis & reputation management specialist, and a trusted leader with 20+ years of global experience leading Public Relations agencies, Brand & Corporate Comms, CSR, Public Policy, and Internal Communications.
He is also the recipient of e4m Top 100 Communications Professionals and has contributed to the significant growth of numerous leading organizations such as Ford Motor Company (where he led APAC product communications based out of Shanghai), Uber, Edelman, and others through his compelling storytelling skills and data-driven approach. His next stint is still unknown.
